  • To Broseph and Jim in Dallas, neither of you have obviously priced out maternity coverage on an individual plan. I have. It would have cost me an additional $1000 per month to have maternity coverage. And I couldn't get pregnant for the first year.

  • I have been at the mercy of the individual insurance market since 2001 when I went to work for a small company (less than 10 employees). When I had my son in 2006, I was covered under my husband's plan thru work. I was 36 years old and considered high risk.
